Winter Solstice Dance - EVENING DANCE

The Winter Solstice Evening Dance will be an opportunity to spend longer in the dance - in the trance - than we usually do in our weekly sessions. *Please note: We will be having a community fire between the 2 dances on this day from 4.30pm-6pm. The Evening Dance will officially start at 6pm. You are welcome to arrive for the fire gathering at 4.30pm or simply arrive in time for the start of the dance (6pm). Please note that the gate to the main car park will be shut between 5-5.45pm and then again after 6pm.

The dance journeys will be held inside but we have the wonderful opportunity to use the outdoor forest space before we go into the dance, set our intentions and gather with those who have come out of the Afternoon Dance! It will be a beautiful celebration of community in the darkest moment of the year.

There will soup round the fire and a chance to reflect upon the year gone by!

Come by yourself or with a friend; all are welcome and, as usual, no dance experience is necessary.   

What to bring? IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:

- Comfortable and weather appropriate clothing for sitting round the fire at the start.

- Extra blankets and / or a cushion to sit on round the fire. We will be on benches but it is cold at this time of year!

- A journal or notepad if you wish to make reflections

- A packed tea or snack for yourself and a mug. We will provide herbal teas, light refreshments including soup. 

- Comfortable shoes if you do not want to dance barefoot.

- Something to add to the alter if you wish.

- Yourself - and a desire to move!

BACs/PayPal/Cash booking for this event: £45 

We cannot escape the never-ending booking/transaction/service fees that get lumped onto our dancers and us here at EOD HQ. We are now consciously trying our best to avoid these fees that get gobbled up by giants much bigger than us. In light of this, we are asking those wishing to book onto any of our events, that they consider payment through BACs, PayPal (friends and family) or cash. We understand if you are new to booking an event with us that you may prefer to book via our website for protection reasons, however by paying us through the ways already mentioned, both parties avoid paying extra costs and we will always send you a confirmation email once payment has been received. Please note that tickets to any of our events are non-refundable. We have decided to add the cost of the fees we incur onto the website ticket price to prevent further losses in the future - this is why our ticket prices are slightly higher on our website. If you would also prefer to avoid paying extra, and are happy to pay via BACs, PayPal (friends and family) or cash, please transfer your payment to PayPal (info@elementsofdance.earth) and reference your name and event; please email us if you would like to pay BACs or cash.
