Summer Solstice Celebration

The height of the summer is a wonderful time for celebration and of course dance!

We will be marking the Summer Solstice on the eve of the longest day - outside in the ancient village lands with a sharing-circle and fire afterwards. 

For this extended dance evening we will be spending longer in the dance - in the trance - than we usually do in our weekly sessions. The dance journeys will be held outside (or under marquee cover if it is raining)  and we can enjoy time around a campfire afterwards with a cuppa and some light bites. Not enough time is usually available for us to share our dance experiences deeply as a group or just sit in the space of what has just taken place; sometimes words are superfluous to actually physically assimilating the journey but all the same it is beautiful to do this as a group.

Come by yourself or with a friend; all are welcome and, as usual, no dance experience is necessary.

What to bring? IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:

- Comfortable and weather appropriate clothing for sitting round the fire at the end.

- Extra blankets and / or a cushion to sit on round the fire. 

- Money, card payment or Ringo App for car parking.

- A journal or notepad if you wish to make reflections.

- A packed tea or snack for yourself and a mug. We will provide herbal teas and light refreshments. You are welcome to bring something to share also.

- Comfortable shoes if you do not want to dance barefoot. We will be outside and there may be the odd stone or nettle underfoot.

- Something to add to the alter if you wish.

- Yourself - and a desire to move!

There is the option to pay via card, BACS or cash for this event.

Please choose 'Offline Payment' at the checkout if you wish to pay by either BACS or cash. 

IMPORTANT - Offline payments are required at the time of booking - please simply wait for your confirmation booking email with BACS details and then pay immediately. 

Please note that tickets to any of our events are non-refundable. Please refer to your ticket for our cancellation policy.
