Summer Solstice Celebration

The height of the summer is a wonderful time for celebration and of course dance!

We will be marking the Summer Solstice on the eve of the longest day - outside in the ancient village lands with a sharing-circle and fire afterwards. 

For this extended dance evening we will be spending longer in the dance - in the trance - than we usually do in our weekly sessions. The dance journeys will be held outside (or under marquee cover if it is raining)  and we can enjoy time around a campfire afterwards with a cuppa and some light bites. Not enough time is usually available for us to share our dance experiences deeply as a group or just sit in the space of what has just taken place; sometimes words are superfluous to actually physically assimilating the journey but all the same it is beautiful to do this as a…
